Covid-19 safety measures
Following the latest recommendations from the Greek Government and international institutions regarding safety against COVID-19 Avli has adapted its hygiene procedures to ensure the utmost safety and well-being of our guests and staff.
Avli has always recognised the importance of ensuring the highest standards of cleanliness and hygiene in every aspect of our hospitality offerings. Because of the need to introduce social-distancing and enhanced hygiene practices, Avli has introduced new arrangements for guests, whether you are dining in Avli Restaurant, at Raki Ba Raki and for those staying with us.
These arrangements include:
Staff training
• Training related to COVID-19 safety and sanitation protocols
• Information posters in staff areas
Personal Protective Equipment
• Provision of personal protective equipment to all staff
• Hand sanitising stations for guests and staff
Social distancing
• Floor signage and information posters
• Arrangement of internal and external spaces to ensure appropriate distancing
Cleaning and disinfection protocols
Guest rooms
• Avli uses approved disinfectants effective against bacteria and viruses and appropriate for Covid-19
• Enhanced cleaning and disinfection protocols are used to clean guest rooms with attention to surfaces
• Steam cleaners for the disinfection of fabric surfaces
• Appropriate decorative items have been temporarily removed
• Room cleaning is carried out on request on the reception desk to minimise contact of cleaning personnel. On check-in please inform us on how often you would like the room cleaned
• Linen change performed every 3 days
Public areas
• Increased frequency of disinfection of all public areas and staff areas with attention to high touched surfaces
• Steam cleaning for the disinfection of fabric surfaces
• Dining tables, bar stools, chairs etc disinfected after each use
• Recommendation to all guests on the usage of WCs
• Air conditioner cleaning according to governmental protocols
Reception
• Check-out:11:00. Check-in:15:00
• Guests' personal data (address, telephone number, email) are requested for public health protection and possible Covid-19 tracing
• Protective plexiglass installed at reception
• Appropriate floor signage added for social distancing
• All keycards disinfected prior to use
• Working surfaces and shared equipment disinfected regularly
• Complete medical kit available at reception
• Credit/debit card payment requested
Restaurants
• A hand disinfection stand has been installed at every restaurant entrance
• Napkin service is suspended and replaced by single usage napkin
• Set up of table is completed upon guests' arrival
• Tables arranged with appropriate physical distancing
Food safety
Food handlers and supervisors have received training on safe food preparation and service practices
Jacuzzi
• Maximum number of persons allowed to use the jacuzzi is 1 person per 5m2
• Lounge chairs and tables are arranged with appropriate physical distance and disinfected after each use
• Pool towels are provided to guests each day
Suppliers
• All suppliers of goods and services follow safety protocols
• No access to suppliers is allowed within the hotel
The hotel has in place an action plan for COVID-19 for any suspected cases in regard to guests and staff
